In the second quarter of 2025, the top five social networking apps on iOS in France showcased varied performance trends, according to Sensor Tower data.

Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat exhibited a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at about $211K by the end of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, reaching a high of approximately 3.5K. Active users showed a recovery trend, ending the quarter with around 131K users.

Azar: Video Chat, Meet Friends saw its revenue climb to nearly $175K in the last week of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at about 21.3K in mid-April, while active users rose to approximately 78.7K by the end of the quarter.

Yubo : Make friends & chat now experienced an upward trend in revenue, reaching around $142K in late June. Downloads were relatively stable, with a peak of about 8.3K in late April. The active user base increased to around 74.5K by the quarter’s end.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out saw its revenue rise to about $92.3K at the end of June. Downloads remained robust with a peak of 32.2K in mid-April. The app maintained a consistently large active user base, closing the quarter with around 2.84M users.

Telegram Messenger had revenue peaking at approximately $65.3K by the end of June. Downloads showed a gradual decline, ending with about 35.8K. Active users fluctuated, ending the quarter with approximately 2.17M users.
